Please join us at the Rhode Island Bar Association on Monday, March 3, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, to honor Ada Sawyer, the first woman in Rhode Island to sit for and pass the Bar Exam. On what would have been her birthday, we will dedicate our small conference room in her name with the unveiling of a portrait and commemorative plaque. This program, presented in partnership with the RI Bar Association and the RI Women's Bar Association, will include a brief speaking portion with remarks from RI Supreme Court Associate Justice Maureen McKenna Goldberg and RI Superior Court Presiding Justice Alice B. Gibney. Complimentary food and drinks will be available as we celebrate this special occasion.
