The Rhode Island Bar Association CLE Committee, working with the Association's staff, plans and carries out an annual program of over 60 continuing legal education programs for members of the Bar. The Bar’s CLE offers a creative, topical and substantively diverse calendar to meet the varied needs of Rhode Island's practitioners at all levels of experience.

All members of the Bar are required to attend ten hours of continuing legal education annually. (Some exceptions are allowed. Please check Section 3.2 of the MCLE regulations.) To meet this requirement, two hours must deal with ethics and professionalism. The Association is committed to offering a variety of high quality seminars, workshops, and courses in many formats and locations. The CLE programs are developed by and for Rhode Island practitioners. An up-to-date calendar and registration information is available here.
