Government Lawyers Committee - Free, One-Credit, Hybrid Committee CLE Seminar

There are just a few spots remaining for the FREE, one-credit, hybrid CLE program sponsored by the Government Lawyers Committee scheduled on Thursday, October 24th, from 12:30-1:30 PM.

The program, "Administrative Law Post-Loper Bright," will be presented by Mary-Rose Pellegrino, Esq., and Peter Skwirz, Esq. Last term, the US Supreme Court issued several landmark decisions in the practice area of administrative law; most notably, the Loper Bright decision that overruled the highly deferential Chevron doctrine. This program will review the recent decisions and predict future trends in administrative law based on those decisions. The speakers will also discuss Rhode Island’s standard of review, with Peter Skwirz presenting on the standard articulated in Town of Warren v. Bristol and the realities of litigating these issues under RI’s deference standard.

Space is extremely limited! Please click here to register. If you register for the virtual option, a Zoom link will be forwarded to you within 48 hours of the program.

Since this CLE approved meeting is open to all members of the Bar, lunch will NOT be provided. Additionally, please note that per the RI MCLE Commission, the Rhode Island Bar Association can only report the attendance of attorneys completing a minimum of 90% of this CLE program
