June Pro Bono Raffle

A “Century of Justice” was celebrated by the Bar Association in 1998 and famed New England artist Maxwell Mays was commissioned to paint a rendition of Rhode Island Courthouses. Now 25 years later there are still some preserved signed and numbered prints.

The prints will be available at the public service table at the upcoming Annual Meeting on June 1 & 2 for those of you willing to accept a pro bono case through the Volunteer Lawyer Program, US Armed Forces Legal Services Project or Pro Bono Program for the Elderly.

We will also have framed print #301 on display at the Annual Meeting.  All attorneys accepting a volunteer case through June 2023 will be entered to win this charming and historical framed Courthouse print.

If you are not attending the meeting and are able to accept a case from now through June, please contact jellis@ribar.com or eking@ribar.com to receive this exceptional print.

Online registration for the Annual Meeting closes on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 5:00 pm. If you have not registered by May 26, you must go to the walk-in registration desk. Early registration is strongly encouraged. We cannot guarantee seats or meals to anyone registering after the deadline.
