According to a notice from the Rhode Island District Court, the Court will remain open during the holiday recess, the weeks of December 21st and December 28th. As in past years, emergency arraignments will be heard as well as bail and violation hearings on the State Calendar. Domestic Violence restraining orders and Landlord Tenant restraining orders will be accepted and heard. No eviction matters will be scheduled. No other civil matters will be heard during this recess.
