We will continue to pass along pertinent information related to the coronavirus crisis as we receive it.

North Providence Municipal Court Chief Judge Robert A. Peretti has the following message for Bar members interested in North Providence Municipal Court operations: Please be advised that all sessions of the North Providence Municipal Court have been cancelled for March and April. Persons who have matters scheduled during this period will be notified by mail of a new court date. Information regarding the Court sessions can be found on the North Providence Police Department website at https://nppolice.com. For those wishing to pay their ticket, payments can be made by mail or online (in person payments are being discouraged at this time).

Please be advised of the following information related to title searches during the Providence City Hall closure: Although Providence City Hall is closed to the public, title searches can be completed online for transactions between August 1, 2004 to the present through the Recorder of Deeds web page. For earlier transactions, the City has arranged the services of a title attorney to search records prior to August 2004. The link to online records as well as the application to request title services can be found at https://www.providenceri.gov/recorder-of-deeds/
