Description: In this program, lawyers will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be effectively utilized in the foundational stages of litigation -- from the onset of client engagement through to the drafting of initial pleadings. Through the use of live demonstrations and practical examples, attendees will learn how to use AI to:
Provide preliminary case assessments, offering early insights into potential legal issues and strategies;
- Conduct detailed background research on involved parties;
- Conduct efficient and comprehensive legal research, accessing relevant case law and statutes;
- Use scenario analyses in the development of effective case strategies;
- Engage in effective case planning, including estimating costs and likely resource allocation; and
- Draft initial legal pleadings, such as complaints and motions, and learn best practices for refining AI-generated drafts to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
