Description
Trial lawyers and elder law attorneys face many situations where clients are victims of abuse, neglect, injury, land wrongful death. Seniors who live in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or other long term care settings are at risk to suffer serious physical injuries, abuse and neglect. Some seniors are victims of financial abuse, exploitation, even from immediate family members or improper collection from facilities. Cases of senior injuries, abuse and neglect provide a complex interaction between traditional tort law along with contract issues, corporate law, access to the civil justice system, and an understanding of state and federal regulations. This seminar will provide an overview of handling these cases focusing on injuries and wrongful death cases and provide guidance for practitioners on some ways they can protect their senior clients.
Online registration for this webinar will close on WEDNESDAY, December 14, at noon.
