Description
A National and Local Perspective on Opioid Litigation
Available in-person or as a live webinar. Lunch included in-person.
This presentation explores the Rhode Island and national opioid litigation—arguably the largest and most complex litigation in Rhode Island and national history. Panelists include outside counsel for the plaintiff, counsel for a defendant, and the judge overseeing the Rhode Island matter. It provides a balanced perspective as to the continuing health crisis, what transpired in these landmark cases and what may follow. This includes an overview of the rulings in Rhode Island and nationwide, specifically including the law of public nuisance, and how this may shape the legal landscape in the future.
YOU MUST CHOOSE IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL DURING COURSE SELECTION.
