This program examines the stress that continues to be added to our daily professional and personal life as a result of the pandemic. The flight or fight response intended to protect us from danger can be triggered by an accumulation of stressors in our life and impact our overall well-being. This already happens in our busy lives but has been increasing with the changes we still face as a result of the pandemic.
We will review techniques that will assist in managing stress due to issues such as isolation, anxiety, going back to court, and other larger gatherings. Small shifts in our mindset and a focus on awareness and intentional, deliberate actions can lower our flight or fight response and allow us to control our responses rather than react to external circumstances beyond our control.
