Description
This course will focus on the stressors lawyers face daily and how the practical application of mindfulness techniques can improve their practice and their lives.
There is much written about mindfulness, but often there is a lack of clarity about how it can make a difference in your daily professional and personal life.
The practice of law can be both rewarding and challenging on any given day. The practice of mindfulness is being aware in the present moment in a purposeful and nonjudgmental manner. .
Recent challenges brought upon the profession by the COVID 19 pandemic emphasize the need for the use of these techniques daily. Whether a new attorney or a seasoned practitioner, our day to day lives have changed dramatically - both inside and outside of our offices. Mindfulness is a useful tool allowing attorneys to be calmer through challenging situations, sharper in their focus, more balanced in their lifestyle and better communicators with clients and other members of the Bar.
