Summary

Trauma affects individuals from all walks of life and can have profound impacts on their ability to navigate legal processes. Often when a person is seeking legal assistance, it's because, to an extent, they've suffered a trauma. Whether it's a slip and fall, medical malpractice, assault, or an arrest, most people who consult with law firms have experienced something traumatic. Legal professionals who understand trauma and its effects can better support and advocate for their clients. This CLE seminar aims to provide lawyers with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt a trauma-informed approach in their practice.
