RI Bar CLE: Leveraging Technology Ethically

This brief session explores the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Formal Opinion 512, which provides a roadmap for lawyers’ ethical obligations when using generative AI. It will talk about the appropriate and inappropriate use cases, ethical landmines, and what data security means in this modern technology enabled era of everything AI.
