Rhode Island Law Day is scheduled for Friday, May 3, 2024! The classroom program topic is Voices of Democracy. The theme teaches students the importance of Americans participating in the 2024 elections by deepening their understanding of the electoral process; discussing issues in honest and civil ways; turning out to vote; and, finally, helping to move the country forward to continue free and fair elections. In this way, Americans ensure that our government remains responsive to the wishes of the people.
If you are interested in serving as an LRE volunteer, especially if you would like to participate in RI Law Day, we are asking you to complete a new application to ensure our database is current with your continuing interest. We encourage volunteers from diverse backgrounds to join our LRE programs. Embracing a wide range of perspectives and backgrounds is crucial in connecting with the diverse populations we serve.
