  • Entering into business transactions with clients;
  • Accepting gifts from clients;
  • Accepting (or giving) loans;

During this informative program, learn how a Life Care Planner develops a customized care plan for the future wellbeing of your client. These plans assist in navigating individuals and their families during a health care crisis. Life care planners assist with understanding how Medicare and health insurance are covered for your client’s unique situation.

The program will revolve around two scenarios - proactively creating a care plan for a healthy senior and assisting in an emergency where a senior has suddenly taken ill and needs to be assessed and assisted throughout their healthcare transition.

Live Webinar Only

Speakers:
Robert H. Humphrey, Esq.
Law Offices of Robert H. Humphrey

Kimberly A. Petta, Esq.
Law Offices of Robert H. Humphrey

The availability of hardship licenses is one of the most significant changes in Rhode Island's DUI laws in the past two decades. Hardship licenses may only be granted after the installation of an ignition interlock device. Hardship licenses are available in only certain cases and at the discretion of the Judge/Magistrate.

The speakers are at the forefront of the changing prosecution and defense of DUI and refusal cases and can provide unique insight into this evolving area of the law. The presentation will consist of a nuts-and-bolts analysis of when hardship licenses are available and the procedural steps which must be accomplished to obtain a hardship license and to have the ignition interlock device installed. This CLE will also address the interplay between the RITT and the DMV and common post plea pitfalls.
