Description
This program will provide an overview of the current state of Rhode Island law in the area of dog bite liability, including considerations of what constitutes an "enclosure," the meaning and effect of the so-called "one-bite" rule and the effect of statutory damages. Strict liability and negligence standards, the availability of comparative fault defenses, important case considerations, and helpful investigative tips will also be discussed.
