Sexual Harassment: Issues in Employment and Housing - IN PERSON
Additional Information:
Over the last year, recent high-profile cases of sexual harassment have prompted federal and state leaders and employers to examine their own personnel policies and codes of conduct.

Our speakers will provide guidance about best practices to promote an appropriate and respectful workplace and housing experience for both landlords and tenants. They will also address recent issues in employment law and housing and how attorneys can best advise their clients.

The program includes an interactive overview of federal and state antidiscrimination laws, parties’ rights and responsibilities, as well as case studies provided by a Commission Senior Compliance Officer. Finally, the training will provide an overview of the burdens of proof, defenses to allegations of sexual harassment, and leading legal theories of liability.
