Welcome to Rhode Island Bar Association online. Our Web site is
intended as a resource for members of the Association as well as the general
public. Our President's Message can be accessed by clicking here. If you are a lawyer, you will find the latest in services and programs
that the bar has to offer, whether it's a CLE program, membership discount
program or an opportunity to join a Rhode Island Bar Committee. There are links
above directing you to the Bar Association bylaws, dues information, court and
other legal resources. Directions to the Rhode Island Law Center are available here.
- In the Public area you will find
information about choosing a lawyer and general information on a variety of
legal issues. The consumer information allows the public to find answers to
many common legal questions including many topics from family law issues
such as adoption and divorce to wills and probate, drunk driving and buying
a home. In addition, there is information on how to choose a lawyer, and how
to handle problems or questions that may come up in the course of your
representation.
- The Members Only area offers a new
variety of services to our members. We invite you to visit CASEMAKER, our online
law library / research tool and our online forums. You will be able to see
current information on CLE and even register or purchase publications online.
There is information on membership benefits, the many committees of the
Association, the latest news from the Association and selected materials from
the Bar Journal.
